Surviving Evidence review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 12:22 (A review of Surviving Evidence)

This movie is alright for a film that is most likely a student made film. The acting is amateur, but isn't bad. A pretty basic zombie story, but more realistic in that the camera isn't high quality like in the movies. I mean not everyone has such good quality cameras. It's worth checking out and can be easily found on youtube. Just use the Independent Zombie movie link.

Mother Died review

This short film is a must see! The twist is pretty awesome and unexpected. I can't say anything else or I might ruin this awesome story! I posted the youtube short here on here.

Terrifier review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 10:52 (A review of Terrifier)

This is one of the creepiest films I have ever seen in my life. Thank God it is only a short film. It's a grindhouse horror short with tons of gore porn. I thought it was well made and the acting was pretty good. The ending will leave you shocked and mortified. I would consider this a must see for any die hard horror fan. You can find the video on Youtube. It's about 20 minutes long.

Wheels review

This is a cute little short with a nice little twist at the end. It is a decent watch, but it is only worth one watch.

Zombie A-Hole review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 10:20 (A review of Zombie A-Hole)

Pretty awful. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I had a feeling it wouldn't be good, but I have always had a soft spot for zombies lol. The acting is ridiculous. The gore is over the top. It is extremely cheesy and the characters make you laugh. It is supposed to be bad as it is grindhouse. It just doesn't make it as something that is so bad it's good. Anyways don't watch this unless you are an absolute zombie junkie.

Pompeii review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 08:56 (A review of Pompeii)

I have been meaning to see this as it has a pretty interesting cast and I love disaster movies. I happen to really enjoy Paul W.S. Anderson except for The Three Musketeers remake. I am a big fan of disaster movies and it's not common to see one that takes place so far in the past which really made me interested in this one. Well damn Degrassi guy didn't make it and was only in it for like 2 minutes. Well I think it's safe to assume that this is the nightmare that Jon Snow has about being a slave gladiator before he wakes back up in Castle Black on Game of Thrones! Haha anyways this has some pretty cool fight scenes despite it being the least bloody gladiator story on-screen. The acting is pretty good and it's been awhile since Kiefer Sutherland has played an interesting villain. When the volcano finally erupts that is when this gets much more interesting. The ending was a bit cheesy, but the overall movie is pretty watchable. I think it's worth a watch maybe on netflix or redbox though.

Scrat: No Time for Nuts review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 12:19 (A review of Scrat: No Time for Nuts)

Scrat is awesome and surely my favorite of the Ice Age series. His shorts are always pretty funny and messed up. This one is really interesting and I think the first to throw some sci-fi into the mix. Truly fun to watch and takes only a few minutes of your day to watch. I'd say it's worth the watch. It's even on youtube and here.

Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 5 March 2014 12:15 (A review of Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos)

I really enjoy Puss in Boots and I thought this short was really adorable. It doesn't have a crazy good plot, but it is pretty funny. If you don't find this cute then I don't know what's wrong with you. Even the villain is actually pretty funny. Worth a watch if you enjoy Shrek related movies or just Puss In Boots.

Bela Kiss: Prologue review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 4 March 2014 11:28 (A review of Bela Kiss: Prologue)

Kristina Klebe and Rudolf Martin are the only familiar faces in this. This was a new take on classic horror. It was very slow and pretty boring to watch. Nothing really interesting happens through a lot of the movie. The twist made me mad as it completely destroyed the awesome aspects of the classic horror it is about. They really wanted this to be part of a series I think, but it just doesn't really captivate you. This was apparently based on a true story which I really hope is just propaganda. The characters are uninteresting, but the acting isn't that bad. There is quite a bit of blood and some gore, but they don't make it interesting. The plot is pretty weak with not a lot of substance to it. It isn't too bad though as there are some scenes that are good. All in all it doesn't have any re-watch value nor does it have anything that makes you go wow that's badass. So I would say skip on this one.

Attila review

Posted : 10 years, 2 months ago on 3 March 2014 11:20 (A review of Attila)

You see that poster as the main image. Yeah the one that says Cheick Kongo is Attila. That is completely and utterly wrong. He plays some wannabe who worked with Attila as Attila is played by some random. Poncho Hodges and Chris Conrad are the only other kind of familiar faces. This has some of the worst death scenes I have ever scene in a horror movie. This is a horror movie right? I think so it does say horror in the tags on IMDB, but it doesn't feel like horror. The acting is really bad, but some of the characters I guess can be a little interesting. The twists are lame and the script is awful. I'm surprised this isn't a damn Uwe Boll movie. Just avoid this whatever you do it isn't worth losing the time you could use for important things. It's sad that I wasted mine.
