Blood Widow review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 2 July 2014 01:33 (A review of Blood Widow)I don't know why I am checking this out other than the killer looks awesome. Also another reason is to see just how bad it actually is. The acting is pretty awful. The death scenes were pretty awesome and well timed. I thought it was a bit original with how it ended. It is filled with cliches and then tries it's best to switch it up a bit. I enjoyed it minus the horrible acting. It's definitely noot the worst thing I've seen.

Premature review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 1 July 2014 07:58 (A review of Premature)I saw the preview for this and it just caught my attention. I have to say it's quite silly. I don't know why it was so funny to see Alan Tudyk's character crying. Sometimes when actors cry in comedies it seems more like laughing. The premise is so awkward it makes it hilarious. There is one scene we find out a character is gay and the main character gets caught by him and other guys masturbating. You can see that the gay guy is smiling which made me laugh so hard. I actually really enjoyed it. The characters were good. The script was awkward and funny. I could see myself watching it again.

Neighbors review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 1 July 2014 05:18 (A review of Neighbors)I thought the trailers made it look like it should be a fun watch so I decided to check it out. There are many laugh out loud moments. These days I haven't really laughed too much when it comes to comedies. So that in itself is refreshing. Some of the pranks they play on each other are awesome and pretty funny. The ending was a bit unusual. I thought it was a decent movie. I enjoyed it for what it was.

Animal review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 30 June 2014 07:47 (A review of Animal)I decided to check it out for the interest casting choices and also the poster makes the creature look intriguing. I enjoy the atmosphere of this one. It kind of feels like a creature feature from like the 70s and 80s, but it has the look of a modern film. It's weird to see Joey Lauren Adams and Keke Palmer in a horror film, but if this gets an audience it widens their fanbase. I thought it was actually quite enjoyable and fun. I liked the characters. There wasn't really much to the plot, but the simplicity made it more mysterious. There were some good twists and turns. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Very Good Girls review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 29 June 2014 06:30 (A review of Very Good Girls)I have been hearing about this for awhile now. It has gotten a lot of hype for what is said to be Dakota's first nude scene. It's time to see if this delivers. In a tribute to one awesome Youtube show Cinemasins Clark Gregg wasn't funny in this movie. I felt that things in the movie were rushed. There were many subplots that just felt like they had no depth to them. The main story was just bland. This doesn't really offer anything new. I do think the acting was good, but it's just a weak story. No Dakota Fanning didn't actually show any skin like all that she and the movie hyped there would be. It didn't go at all how I expected though. I thought it was just okay. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Raid 2 review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 24 June 2014 07:08 (A review of The Raid 2)I have been dying to see this for awhile now and have heard great things about it. I loved the first one so I am hoping this will be great as well. I think this one upped the ante from the last one. Yes it isn't the claustrophobic action thrill ride that the first one was, but this one has more of a story line. The action is pretty brutal and you get more of it since it's more spread out than the previous installment. There are some amazing fights throughout, but the first hour is mostly setting up the story. The last hour of the movie is relentless bloody violence which is what The Raid fans will be most excited about. It was such a powerful manly sequel to that surpassed it's predecessor in my opinion. There are really awesome characters. My favorites of which were Hammer Girl, Eka, and Baseball Bat Boy. The ending was perfect. I can't wait until the next one!

All Cheerleaders Die review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 22 June 2014 05:00 (A review of All Cheerleaders Die)Horror movie with hot cheerleaders what could go wrong? Well honestly anything could. Well it starts off with the right kind of wrong leaving me with an "O" for a mouth! I am not entirely sure what's going on with a certain main character, but it is interesting. I mean I wish they explained the driving force for why he acted the way he did. The humor is dark and there are some crazy moments here and there. This was one crazy thrill ride. I really enjoyed it. The ending was awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel!

Electric Cinema: How to Behave review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 21 June 2014 04:53 (A review of Electric Cinema: How to Behave)It was a cute little short that is what exactly what it says it is. Benedict Cumberbatch and Humphrey Bogart is an interesting choice. It way of getting rid of 2 minutes.

Oculus review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 17 June 2014 03:38 (A review of Oculus)This caught my interest with it's trailer being eerie and not giving away anything. After watching it I feel it was a mixture of Mirrors, Insidious, and Amittyville Horror. It was an interesting concept, but most of it was pretty boring. The acting was great it was just missing the push it needed to actually be a more than decent movie. Some sequences throughout did flair up my attention, however, I just couldn't sit still watching this. It was hard to keep focused on the storyline when they kept going back and forth in the story. For some movies that works, but for this one it was just annoying. I did however find the idea of the past and present mixing together to be the only part of that to be a good idea. The ending was crazy and made this a little better than I was first thinking. Anyways it's an okay film that's about it.

A Million Ways to Die in the West review
Posted : 10 years, 5 months ago on 16 June 2014 08:08 (A review of A Million Ways to Die in the West)I am pretty much a big fan of Seth MacFarlane and will give any of his works a chance. Although it seems to me that Family Guy has kind of been losing its touch. There are a lot of big name actors in this which I think gives it a plus with some unexpected character cameos. The humor may not be for everyone, but people who enjoy Family Guy, Ted, and other works of his would definitely enjoy this. I do agree that the shooting gallery at the fair wasn't very tasteful, but racist jokes are one of the things that you should expect from Seth MacFarlane. There were some things I was a little uncomfortable with seeing, but that didn't make this any less enjoyable. It was more enjoyable to me than Ted was though as it had more to offer. The death scenes they did show were pretty funny and messed up. The ending was perfect.
